Phillip J. Andrews
Phillip is the Founder and Executive Director of International Innovation Centers, bringing decades of experience in innovation, strategic planning, technology, economic development and organizational transformation.
His work has centered on helping leaders and organizations understand emerging change from a broader perspective, connecting technological advancement with the economic, social and human forces that ultimately determine its impact.
Through INTIC, Phillip has brought together experts, institutions and strategic partners across disciplines and geographies to explore Smart Cities, digital transformation, the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions, innovation strategy and the future of human-centered progress.

our history
INTIC’s roots date back to 2004, when the organization began as the National RFID Center, focused on emerging radio-frequency identification technologies. As technology evolved, its work expanded into sensors, the Internet of Things, data analytics and the increasingly connected systems transforming business and society.
Over time, INTIC’s focus broadened beyond individual technologies to the larger forces shaping Smart Cities, Smart Businesses and Smart Manufacturing. In 2015, INTIC joined forces with Biz Smarter, further expanding its capabilities and perspective.
Today, INTIC continues that evolution through its work in the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions, exploring how technological advancement can support smarter, more resilient and sustainable communities while keeping people and human flourishing at the center of transformation.
