Who We Are

We are a NPO (501c3) that functions as a virtual enterprise, consisting of retired executives, professors, thought leaders, researchers, authors, and government leaders.

Our Purpose

Enable society to reach higher levels of excellence (migrate to the new emerging civilization)!

Our Vision

Become the premier source of support and inspiration for Smart Cities across the world.

Our Mission

Assist cities to become smart, resilient, sustainable and livable by offering the best (smart and sustainable) solutions that fit them.

Our History

We started in 2004 as the National RFID Center focused primarily on state-of-the-art sensor technology. Since then, the Center expanded its focus to address sensor mechanisms and devices, sensor systems, measurement and control systems, IoT/IoE, and data analytics. We migrated from Collecting Info to Processing Info, and from Unifying Data and Information to Combining Data and Information and translating them into useful and actionable Knowledge.  In 2015 the National RFID Center joined forces with Biz Smarter.

…and most people and governments try to acknowledge its arrival and impact. The growing severity of global-scale environmental and resource problems, together with changes in people’s views and values, along with an avalanche of technological advances are prompting all of us to reevaluate what form future cities should take and the direction of humanity.

We are here to provide a clearer picture of the future, translate the megatrends and undercurrents the right way, so that new government, business, educational and social models are generated and implemented for the new civilization that is emerging.

Our carefully cultivated team of experts have spent decades in their respective professions and bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills that are very unique and valuable.  Although our main focus is SMART CITIES, we also support and consult SMART BUSINESSES and SMART MANUFACTURING and other entities that want to achieve higher levels of smartness and excellence.

Today our focus is on Smart Cities because they encompass Sensor Technologies, IoT, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Structured and Unstructured Content, The Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and other key technologies that advance our society and civilization to a new amazing era, which we call The Omni-Convergence Era. It combines technologies with content, new socioeconomic concepts, a new version of democracy (called Participatory Democracy), new styles of living, working and enjoying life, and so much more. The Omni-Convergence Era is also blending values, beliefs, industries, value chains, and eras. The world is undergoing another major Renaissance, and very few people and governments realize what are the implications of all those changes. We live in an unprecedented time. This is why we are here!

We are here to explain what is going on and how the massive transformations affect everyone. We are here to elucidate governments, businesses and individuals of the consequences of overlapping revolutions and the compounded effect of convergent eras. One must remember that The Omni-Convergence Era represents significant and momentous Creative and Destructive Disruption. Companies and institutions that refuse to accept that are in for a rude awakening in the next 5 to 10 years!
